There are two categories for children's Baptism at St. Gerard`s parish, depending upon their age:
1. BAPTISM FOR INFANTS TO 6 YEARSNovember 2024
Dear Parents/Guardians,
The Children’s Liturgy is a new initiative at St. Gerard’s Parish. Our goal is to welcome and support young families. In Matthew 19:14; Jesus said: “Let the children come to me and do not stop them, because the Kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” We invite you to bring your children ages 3 - 6 years and up (6 years+ up) to our newly developed Children’s liturgy. Children must be potty-trained if possible. One parent is welcome to stay with their child.
The children’s liturgy will run every Sunday during the 11:00 AM mass. After the opening hymn and gathering, just before the first reading, Fr. Ignatius Tran will invite the children to come to the Children’s Liturgy for children 3 - 6 years old and up. Siblings who are school-aged (6 years+ up) are welcome to attend. The children will partake in the Liturgy of the Word. Children will be returned during the offertory.
Please sign the Registration/Waiver Form below, which will also assist us in making name tags for your children.
