St Gerard’s council 6488 is part of District 32 and along with 4 other member councils was the recipient of the “Best all-around District and Councils” Award for the 2018- 2019 Columbian Year.
The award is given to the District and Councils whose actions best reflect the Compass of the Knights Of Columbus, whose four directional needles are, Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. In 2018-2019, our council initiated over 20 events in keeping with the Knights compass.

Council 6488 has distributed over 70 coats to children of all ages.
Thirty coats were distributed to the St John’s Reception Centre, with Kerrie.
In December our chambers turned into a supply room with over $3,000 worth of inventory purchased with the assistance of our Stella Charitable Foundation! We delivered coats, toques and hats to needy children as follows:
