MARRIAGE PREPARATION
If you are planning to have a wedding at St. Gerard’s, please contact the parish office. There are papers to be filled out, documents to gather, and a marriage preparation course [5-6 weeks] which must be taken with a sponsor couple from our Marriage Team.

Whether you are wanting to be married at St. Gerard Parish or at a parish outside of the city, you must take a marriage preparation course and have your paperwork completed at your local parish.
Anointing of the Sick
Adult Baptism and Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)
Are you someone, or do you know someone who:
- has expressed an interest in becoming Catholic?
- has a child over seven who has not been baptized?
- was baptized as a child but has not celebrated the sacraments of Confirmation or Eucharist?
We offer an opportunity to come together in a small group to learn about our faith. Sessions focus on the teaching and experience of the church and prepare individuals to celebrate the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist during the Easter season.
There are separate sessions for child and youth.
You are welcome to participate in the process with your questions, your insights and your interest. This will be a warm and inviting private setting.

If you are interested in participating in the RCIA, complete the Baptism Registration form below (check the RCIA option). Once completed, someone will contact you to discuss the next steps of the program.

  3. Godparent/s: A copy of Confirmation certificate or a copy annotated Baptismal certificate noting Confirmation date on the certificate.
  
  4. *If legal guardian, present a copy of guardianship and signed permission from birth parent acknowledging request for baptism.
