Call us at 403-253-4297 and leave a message with your name, address and phone number. You can also email us at SSVP@STGERARDS.CA. One of our volunteers will get back to you.
We serve the areas of Canyon Meadows, Southwood, Haysboro, Kingsland south of 75th Ave SW, Albert Park, and Ramsay. If you live north of 75th Ave SW, please call St Anthony's Church at 403-252-6658.
If you live in any other area please call SSVP Central Line 403-250-0319. They will help you to find the local church in your area that has a SSVP. -
Donations for
St. Vincent de Paulhow to donateIf you have a cash donation or gift card, please drop in the collection during mass or drop it off in the church mail slot on the office door or with the staff in the office. Please label it for SSVP.If you are unable to drop your donation off, please contact us at 403-253-4297 or email us at SSVP@stgerads.ca and we will pick it up from you.
If you prefer to give a cheque, please make it payable to The Society of St. Vincent de Paul at St Gerard's Church. Contact the office if you would prefer to donate through Canada Helps.
Non-perishable food and personal items can be dropped off at the church during office hours or in the SSVP bin in the church entrance before and after mass.

Did You Know?statisticsIn 2025 we:
- Distributed 542 hampers to 1063 adults and 543 children.
- Delivered 115 Christmas hampers with food vouchers and gifts for the children.
- Gave out an average of 39 hampers each month.
- Shared $ 44,000 in gift cards so that our clients could buy perishable and personalized food items.
- Helped pay $2500 in rent so those in need could stay in their homes and $400 in utility costs to keep the lights on.
- Provided pet food to our clients for their cats and dogs courtesy of Parachute for Pets.
- Redirected many clients to find the furniture and clothes that they needed for themselves and their children.
