Constitutionally, the primary objective of the SCF will follow the compass of the Knights of Columbus (Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism) and through charitable works, uphold, strengthen and preserve Catholicism and the spirit of Christianity.

Individual works of the Foundation adhere to the overarching themes of serving the practical needs of the church and the community it serves, sustaining the vibrancy of a strong Catholic community, Catholic education, and support of those chosen to pursue a religious way of life.
